Eileen Conant

Eileen Conant, age 95, formerly of ToEileen Conantmahawk, passed away on June 17, 2019 at Union Grove Veterans Home.

Eileen was born on January 11, 1924 in Tomahawk to William & Ella (Johnson) Bishop. She was married to William Conant on July 30, 1946 in West Allis. After Eileen’s husband passed away in 1970, she moved back to Tomahawk. She worked at the Chevrolet Dealership & at the Tomahawk Leader. In 2013, Eileen moved to the Veteran’s Home. Eileen was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Before moving to Union Grove, she was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Catholic Women’s Club.

Eileen is survived by her daughter – Cathy (Roger) Lange of Franklin; and 1 sister – Rose Marie (Leonard) Kawell of Park Ridge, IL. She is further survived by 3 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.

Eileen is preceded in death by her parents, husband & 2 brothers – Lawrence & Milton Bishop.

The Memorial Mass for Eileen Conant will take place at 12:00 Noon on August 2, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tomahawk. Fr. Louis Maram Reddy will officiate. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of Mass at 12:00 Noon. Burial has taken place in Calvary Cemetery.
