Jane T. Lennon

Jane T. Lennon, age 92, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born February 10, 1927, in Chicago, IL, to the late Walter and Frances (Boland) Hay.

Jane grew up in Chicago and attended Loretto Academy; graduating in 1945. She worked as a fashion model for Marshall Fields for a number of years. Jane was married to Joseph E. Lennon on January 28, 1950, in Chicago; he passed away in 2013. They raised their family in Arlington Heights, IL, and later moved the family to Lake Orion, MI, in 1974. Jane and Joe moved to Tomahawk in 1994.

Jane was an artist and enjoyed oil painting and interior decorating. She was an avid reader and also liked knitting, crocheting, gardening, and landscaping. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her Children, Kathleen Theiler, of Tomahawk, Sally (Dan) Wickland, of Des Plaines, IL, Joseph Lennon, of Peoria, IL, and Marilee (James) Wickland, of Tomahawk; Her Sister, Patricia Burns, of Chicago, and a Sister-in-Law, Jean (Don) McGuire, of Justice, IL. Jane is further survived by 5 Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband, and 4 Sibllings.

Funeral Services for Jane Lennon will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Generations Funeral Home, Tomahawk. Pastor Chuck Mironas will officiate. The family will receive friends for Visitation on Saturday, July 27, from 9:00 AM until the time of Services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
