Jamie Harder

Jamie Lou Harder, age 65, of Merrill, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at her residence in Merrill. She was born on March 5, 1954 to the late Donald and Marlene (Freuen) Collins in Tomahawk.

Jamie attended and graduated from Tomahawk High School and continued her education at NTC in Wausau, earning her degree in medical coding. She had also taken the nursing assistant course.

Jamie had retired from her job as a laborer at Semco, due to her declining health. When Jamie was younger, she would enjoy bowling with friends and family. She was very talented at knitting and crocheting and would be able to engage in other activities at the same time! Jamie enjoyed playing cards and visiting with friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Jamie is survived by her sons Chris (Jen) of Gleason and James of Onalaska; grandsons Brandon and Collin; brothers Gary (Debbie), Don (Cindy), Tom (Lori), David (Brenda), and Pat (Lisa); sisters Marlie (Larry), Mary, and Peggy (Dan); sister-in-law Gina; and her best friend Diane Ceplina. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Mike.

A Celebration of Life for Jamie was held on Monday, July 29, 2019 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Waid Funeral Home in Merrill.
