Patricia L. Tilton

Patricia L. Tilton, 86, of 8530 Rogers Drive, Minocqua, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Tomahawk Health Services under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care.

Patty was born October 8, 1932 in Wausau, Wisconsin to William and Adeline (Erps) Mohr. She was married for 68 years to John E. Tilton. She lived most of her life in the Minocqua area. Patty had been employed as a school bus driver, Pamida, and a greeter at Walmart. She formerly worked at LeBlanc Art Gallery, where she also dabbled in candy and fudge making. She also had been a seamstress, making many dresses, draperies, and Min-Aqua Bat costumes. She enjoyed socializing, gardening, cooking, and baking. Patty’s family was her life’s passion and she will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.

Surviving Patty Tilton are her husband, John E. Tilton; 4 children, Patti (Tom) Kalaskey of Clearwater, Florida; Susie Potter of Madison, WI; Anita (David) Clarke of Charlevoix, Michigan; and John (Julianna) Tilton of Madison, Alabama. She is further survived by a sister, Joyce Doffing of Sussex, Wisconsin; a sister-in-law, Sarah Mohr of Stevens Point; 6 grandchildren, Alexander Clarke, Patrick Clarke, Andrew J. Potter, Ross C. Potter, Charles Tilton, and Tiffany Tilton; and 2 great grandchildren, Watson and Wrangler. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Adeline (Erps) Mohr and a brother, Roger Mohr of Iola-Scandinavia, WI

Patty Tilton’s life will be celebrated privately by her family.
