Annette V. Yustus, 79, Tomahawk, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019, at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill. She was born March 10, 1940, in Evanston, IL, to the late Andrew and Rose (Jaeckel) Swanson.

Annette grew up in Evanston where she was a 1958 graduate of Evanston High School. She moved to the Tomahawk area in 1965. Annette first worked at Hansen Glove Factory in Merrill. She later worked at Golden Age Nursing Home, Harley-Davidson, and as a youth counselor at Lincoln Hills. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk and the quilting guild at the church. She enjoyed quilting, embroidering, crocheting, knitting, going to miniature doll shows, and building miniature doll houses. She also liked miniature train sets, gardening, and woodworking. Annette loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Survivors include two Sons, William (Lani) Swanson, of Kewaunee, WI, and Joseph (Liz) Yustus, of Hartford, WI; two Daughters, Brenda (Jay) Siren, of Shiocton, WI, and Linnea Christianson of Tomahawk; two Sisters, Karen Olson, of Irma, WI, and Nancy Freil, of Owosso, MI; and eight Grandchildren, Matthew, Shawn, Dallas, Drew, Jake, Mallory, Evan, and Jake. Annette is further survived by eight Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; her Son, Robert Yustus; and her Sister, Irene MacLean.

Funeral Services for Annette Yustus were held Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, at 11 a.m., from Generations Funeral Home, Tomahawk. Pastor Nate Nelson officiated. Visitation took place at Generations on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of Services at 11 a.m.. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in the Town of Skanawan.
