Mary Y. Grams, age 81, of Tomahawk, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. She was born June 6, 1938, in Tomahawk to the late Mart and Marjorie (Shrofe) Charbarneau.

Mary grew up and attended school in Tomahawk. She was married to Casey Grams on Dec. 21, 1959; he passed away in 2014. Mary and Casey lived in Milwaukee, Granton, and Marshfield before moving to Tomahawk permanently with their three children.

Mary worked as a waitress and a cook at the Matador Restaurant and Primetime Restaurant in Tomahawk. She later worked at Walmart in Rhinelander until her retirement. Mary loved playing the card game Skip-Bo with her family and friends. She also liked listening to music, working on her word-search books, and plastic canvas crafting. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include: two Sons, Mart (Rocio) Grams, of Shawano, WI, and Rory Grams, of Indiana; three Sisters, Elaine, Marvel, and Patsy; four Grandchildren, Michele (Carl) Houpt, Nate (Emily) Grams, Benjamin (Cassandra) Grams, and Megan Grams. Mary is further survived by four Great-Grandchildren, Harmony, Damyen, Sophia, and Averi.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Mart and Marjorie; her Husband, Casey; her Daughter, Tracy Maurer; four Sisters, Darlene, June, Bonnie, and Marjorie; and her Brothers, LeRoy and Eldon.

Memorial Services for Mary Grams will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Generations Funeral Home, Tomahawk. The family will receive friends for Visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of Services at 10 a.m. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
