TOWN OF CORNING – The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in the Town of Corning Wednesday, Nov. 13.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a cell 911 call was received at 3:12 a.m. reporting a crash on State Rd. 64 near Elm Grove Rd. The witness, who was traveling in a separate vehicle, stated the victim swerved to miss a deer, left the roadway and rolled over.
The victim, Timothy W. Rowe, 50, of Merrill, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies determined alcohol was not a factor in the incident.
