Lincoln County Sheriff’s Reports: Dec. 29, 2019 and Jan. 6, 2020

As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019:

A Gleason woman, 50, was cited Tuesday morning after a deputy investigated a vehicle in the ditch in the Town of Russell. The driver showed signs of impairment. She was cited for a first offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

At least two people were transported to Ascension Good Samaritan Health Center after a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday in the Town of Russell. The crash was reported to 911 at 12:25. The incident happened off of Town Hall Rd.

The number of deer crashes is much lower this week with four being reported.

 

As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Monday, Jan. 6, 2020:

A Gleason man, 20, received minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash last Monday on USH 51 at State Rd. 64.

A Merrill man, 18, was arrested last Monday night following an incident in the Town of Merrill. He was charged with disorderly conduct, child abuse and a probation hold.

A male, 32, was cited on Thursday for operating a motor vehicle while suspended following a traffic stop on County Rd. Q at County Rd. Z in the Town of Scott.

A male, 33, was cited on Friday for speeding 90 miles per hour on USH 51 near Irma.

A male, 17, received a citation for speed, too fast for conditions, following a vehicle rollover on Airport Rd. south of Hillside Dr. on Saturday.

A Merrill man, 40, was arrested Sunday following a domestic situation. Charges included domestic disorderly conduct, intimidation of a victim, and strangulation/suffocation.

The snow events last week resulted in over 30 vehicles going in the ditch. No injuries were reported in any of the instances.

Six people reported striking deer last week.
