Mary A. Heppner, age 71, of Tomahawk, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, under the care of her family and Ascension at Home Hospice. Mary was born in Peoria, IL, on Aug. 30, 1948, to the late Terrance and Winefred (Bowers) Sullivan. She was married to Jack Heppner on Sept. 16, 1983; he survives.

Mary grew up in Peoria and attended Limestone Community High School in Bartonville, IL. In 1987, Jack and Mary moved to Tomahawk, where she worked as a waitress at the Matador Restaurant. She later worked at Tomahawk Ben Franklin. Mary enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping. Above all, Mary cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her Husband, Jack Heppner, of Tomahawk; two Sons, Robert (Christie) Davis, of Sherrard, IL, and Joel Kelley, of Peoria, IL; one Daughter, Angela Davis, of Poynette, WI; one Daughter-in-Law, Jackie (Nathan) Brown, of Resaca, GA; two Brothers, George “Bud” (Marilyn) Sullivan, of Bartonville, IL, and Terry (Celeste) Sullivan, of Chicago, IL; one Sister, Judy (Dewey) King, of Elmwood, IL; her Father and Mother-in-Law, Jack and Gail Heppner, of Tomahawk; 11 Grandchildren, Cassi, Kimmie, Nick, Kendra, Kaylee, Robby, Jade, Jeremiah, AJ, Lucas, and Lauren; and three Great-Grandchildren, Danny, Leigha, and Ethan. Mary is further survived by Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Terrance and Winefred; her Daughter, Kim Teal, and Son-in-Law, Mike Teal; one Son, Jeremy Heppner; and three Brothers, Tom, Mark, and Kevin Sullivan.

Funeral Services for Mary Heppner were held on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, at 5 p.m., at Generations Funeral Home, Tomahawk. The family received friends for Visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of Services at 5 p.m. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family.
