FOR THE TOMAHAWK LEADER

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk School District purchased a pug mill with funds provided by a grant from Tomahawk Area Foundation for Youth, Inc. (T.A.F.F.Y.) and a donation from the Hein Memorial Scholarship Tournament (John, Peg, Andy and Jamie Hein).

A pug mill takes old scrap clay (dry, workable, and slip) and mixes/reconstitutes the clay to an air-free, workable form.

“The Tomahawk School District Art Department would like to thank everyone who helped make the purchase of the pug mill happen!” said 6-12 Art Teacher Sara Hinke and Elementary Art Teacher Chris Kernan.
