THS students set to compete at district forensics competition in Tomahawk Saturday, March 14

FOR THE TOMAHAWK LEADER

TOMAHAWK – Over 20 Tomahawk High School students advanced from the state’s forensics subdistrict competition and will compete at the district level in Tomahawk on Saturday, March 14, said head forensics coach Michelle Balda.

The following forensics students will compete in Tomahawk:

Matthew Johnson and Reed Zedler, Demonstration Speech; Allison Schmidt, Farrago;  Hailey Hurst, Farrago; Catalina Dieter, Hugh Bushor, and Mason Peck, Group Interpretive Reading; Jack McGovern, Martin Schmidt and Joe Reiter, Group Interpretive Reading; Olivia Kiser, Informative Speech; McKenna Roessler and Sylvia Dhaseleer, Play Acting; Annie Begotka, Poetry Reading; Emily Fondie, Poetry Reading; Grace Kummerfeldt, Poetry Reading; Elijahh Mullen, Prose Reading; Lucas Stelzer, Prose Reading; Maura Koth, Prose Reading;  Semra Marquardt, Prose Reading; Mary Voelker, Solo Acting;  Natalie Reiter, Solo Acting; and Sydney Michalski, Solo Acting.

Students who earn scores of 21/25 from at least two judges will move on to the state level competition slated to take place in Madison on April 18.
