TOWN OF BRADLEY – A 49-year-old Merrill man was killed in a motorcycle crash in the Town of Bradley, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said. The incident is believed to have occurred Sunday evening or early Monday morning.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call was received from a passing motorist at 10:22 a.m. on Monday, May 25, reporting a motorcycle off the roadway on State Highway 17 at County Highway S.

The Wisconsin State Patrol said the 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling south on County Highway S when it left the roadway at State Highway 107, overturned in the ditch and struck a tree. The victim, Michael A. Plummer, was pronounced dead on the scene by Lincoln County Coroner Paul C. Proulx.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is handling the investigation of the crash and will release the victim’s name.

The crash marks the fourth traffic fatality in Lincoln County this year, the Sheriff’s Office said.
