Dawn ‘Dawnie’ Woehrle

Dawn “Dawnie” Woehrle, age 65, of Tomahawk, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Dawn was born on Sept. 9, 1954 in McHenry, Ill., to Kenneth and Joan (Borrell) Ingersol. Dawn bartended for nearly 20 years at R.P.s lounge. She cleaned homes and cabins on the side. She also worked at the Bridge Inn Motel and her latest job at McDonalds for 10 years before her retirement in September of 2016.

Dawn enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking, cleaning, gardening, cards and puzzles. Dawn loved being in the sunshine, watching her birds, enjoyed movies and she loved to make people laugh.

Dawn lived with COPD for the last 10 years of her life. She was cared for every moment with her daughter by her side until her last breath.

Dawn is survived by her children – Richard Ingersol of Elk Hart, Ind., Randi (Ray Eternicka) Woehrle of Tomahawk and Mitchell (Barbie Harton) Woehrle of Tomahawk; her siblings – Heather (Jerry) Rooni and Kevin Ingersol. She was the proud Nana of Dakoda “Peanut” Woehrle, Braelynn Lopez, Maliya Eternicka and Zayden Harton. Dawn also loved her nieces – Jen, Coley, Kenzie, Angie and Alicia.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later time.
