John P. Lee, age 87, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at his home in Weston.

John was born on June 2, 1933 in the town of Cassian to Paul and Ruth (Leubrie) Lee. He was married to Elaine Reese on July 1, 1961 in Illinois. John spent his early years in Cassian and then the family moved to Illinois, where he was employed at the Trinity School for Special Needs Children as maintenance and transportation director. John and Elaine moved to the Little Rice area in 1989. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and had been a lifelong Cubs fan. In 2013, they moved to Weston to be closer to family.

Surviving John Lee is his wife, Elaine; daughter, Leslie (Doug) Fuit of Weston; brother, Daniel (Kathy) Lee of Dixon, Ill.; and a sister, Lois (Walter) Wulf of Morris, Ill. John is further survived by two grandchildren, Morgan and Christopher, and three great-grandchildren, Ajia, Serah, and Noah. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Lee and two brothers, Calvin and Richard Lee.

A private family graveside service for John Lee will be held at Prairie Rapids Cemetery. Krueger Funeral and Cremation Services, Tomahawk, is caring for the family. You may view the obituary and share online condolences at www.kruegerfamilyfuneral.com.
