Margaret ‘Peggy’ Wurl

Margaret “Peggy” Wurl, age 94, of Tomahawk, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Riverview Health Services.

Peg was born in Tomahawk on April 30, 1926 to Edgar and Esther (Andersen) Wurl. Peg lived in the Chicago area for many years. She worked as an office administrator at a law firm in Chicago. After retirement, Peg moved back home to Tomahawk, where she has been for the past 25 years. Peg was an accomplished writer. She wrote and acted in plays in the Chicago area.

Peg is survived by her nieces and nephews – Karen Wurl, John Wurl, Michael Wurl  and Heidi Welborn. She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers – William Robert Wurl, Richard Wurl and David Wurl.

Peg’s family will celebrate her life when the COVID restrictions have been lifted.
