Tomahawk Main Street last week donated $500 each to American Legion Post 93 and VFW Post 2687, with funds coming from the Honor Banner Project. Gerry Johnson accepted on behalf of the American Legion, and Bill Burcalow accepted on behalf of the VFW. Honor Banners pay tribute to local veterans, featuring their name, face and ranks, and are hung along W. Wisconsin Ave. downtown. Banners are available to sponsor for 2021. Forms are available at the Tomahawk Main Street Office, 225 W. Wisconsin Ave., Tomahawk, or online at www.tomahawkmainstreet.org.
