TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Hunter Safety Group last week said it has cancelled its fall 2020 classes, citing the COVID-19 pandemic.

“None of the instructors want to bring anything home to their family nor do they want to give anything to the students,” a release from the group stated.

Anyone can hunt with the DNR’s mentor hunt program, the group noted. Information can be found at www.gowild.wi.gov.

Those with questions are asked to contact Hetch Lund at 715-453-5819.

“We hope to go back to having our spring and fall classes next year,” the release said.
