Darren J. Belling, age 48, of Wausau, WI, passed away on Monday, Aug. 31, 2020. He was born in Merrill, Wis., on Aug. 15, 1972, to Dave and Dianne (Henrich) Belling.

Darren attended kindergarten in the Merrill School District before moving to Tomahawk, where he was a 1991 graduate of Tomahawk High School. Darren was an amazingly talented and creative artist. He spent countless hours painting rocks to spread throughout the Wausau area. Darren enjoyed skateboarding, playing disc golf, and in his younger years, played little league baseball with the Nokomis Cougars.

Darren is survived by his parents, Dave and Dianne; and his siblings, Dewey (Nancy) Belling, of Tomahawk, Dan Belling, of Merrill, and Dawn (Tim) Ruprecht, of Merrill.

He is further survived by his nieces and nephews, Amber, Dewey, Jr., Gary, Kyle, and Kory; and his great-nieces and nephews, Nile, Liam, Adelyn, Oliver, and Levi.

In accordance with wishes, no formal services will be held. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory, Tomahawk, is assisting the family. You may view Darren’s obituary and leave online condolences at generationsfuneral.com.

Rest in peace Darren. Love, your family.
