Gene Cottrell and Darlene Cottrell

Gene Cottrell, 87, a longtime Irma area resident, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, Wisconsin, and on Wednesday, Sept. 16, Darlene Cottrell, his wife of nearly 67 years, passed away at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. A Memorial Service for Gene and Darlene is being planned and will be announced as soon as it is finalized.  A complete obituary will be published in next week’s Leader. Krueger Family Funeral and Cremation Services, Tomahawk, is assisting the family.
