Carol J. Brown, age 76, of Tomahawk passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 as the result of a car accident.

Carol was born on March 26, 1944 in Sturgeon Bay, Wis., to George and Vale (Ulbrich) Ferris. She was married to James J. Brown on June 27, 1964 in Sturgeon Bay. Carol and Jim lived in Mukwonago for many years until moving to the Virgin Lake Area in 1999. Carol loved fishing, sewing and camping.

Carol is survived by her husband – James Brown of Tomahawk; daughter – Michele (Elliott) Kressin of Kaukauna; sister – Betty (Kevin) Phillips of Arizona; and three grandchildren – Collin, Jonathan and Audrey. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

The family will be celebrating Carol’s life privately.
