RHINELANDER – Anyone planning on enrolling in Nicolet College credit classes in the Spring or Summer Terms of 2021 is encouraged to apply for any one of the more than 100 scholarships being offered by the Nicolet College Foundation.

“Scholarships can go a long way in helping students pay for college and we encourage anyone who plans to attend Nicolet next year to fill out the application,” said Heather Schallock, executive director of the Nicolet College Foundation. “The application process is fairly easy and straightforward and we know scholarships can make a big difference in students’ lives as they work their way to graduation.”

All applications must be submitted online at www.nicoletcollege.edu/scholarships between Oct. 5 and Oct. 26.

Nicolet scholarships are available for both new and continuing students and range in value from $250 to $1,350. Funds are applied directly to the cost of tuition and books. Both part-time and full-time students with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher are eligible to receive scholarships.

Schallock noted that the scholarships are available only because of the generosity of Foundation donors.

“They truly believe in the value of a college education,” she said. “They see how it can improve the lives of individuals and also benefit the communities in which graduates live and work.”

For more information about scholarships, contact the Nicolet College Foundation office at 715-365-4518, 1-800-544-3039, ext. 4518; TTY 1-800-947-3529 or 711 relay; or by email at hschallock@nicoletcollege.edu.
