TOMAHAWK – The School District of Tomahawk was notified on Monday, Nov. 9 of a COVID-19 exposure involving students on the football team.

District Administrator Terry Reynolds said in a release that 18 players have been placed under quarantine.

“Because of the inherent health issues and the lack of players who would be able to compete, it became necessary to forfeit the WIAA football playoff game against Wittenberg-Birnamwood scheduled this week,” Reynolds stated.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood has been declared the winner of the game and will play next week.
