TOMAHAWK – The cast and crew of Tomahawk High School’s one-act play “Fidget” received a unanimous advance to the sectional competition. They submitted a sectional recording of their production Friday in hopes of advancing to state judging in early December, said Director Michele Balda.

“This year the Wisconsin High School Forensics Association is holding both its Theatre and Speech seasons through an online format,” Balda explained. “Schools upload their productions to the website and are adjudicated based on their recording. If submitted as a staged, in-person play, which ours is, all students must be masked at all times and maintain six feet of social distancing as much as possible. While these changes have met with a number of challenges, our students have embraced the opportunity to be back in the auditorium doing what they love.”

Below are the cast, crew, and roles (only one person plays the role at a time):

Aiden, Nathanael Graeber; Bailey, Murphy Koth/Annie Shrigley; Carson, Martin Schmidt; Devin, Annie Shrigley/Greyson Marta; Emersyn, Dellana Graeber; Fidget, Maura Koth; Voice, Elijahh Mullen/Allison Schmidt; Forward, Lucas Stelzer/Aurora Peetz; Defense, Jack McGovern; Gum Chewer, Kailey Cerny; Nail Biter, Olivia Kiser; Hair Twister, Maggie Lashua/Murphy Koth; Nose Picker, Lucas Stelzer/Jack McGovern; Attention, Kailey Cerny; Deficit, Martin Schmidt; Disorder, Emma Springstead/Greyson Marta/Annie Shrigley; Hair, Jack McGovern; Skin, Emma Springstead/Dellana Graeber; Weight, Olivia Kiser; Truck, Nathanael Graeber; Doll, Kailey Cerny; Red, Maggie Lashua/Murphy Koth; Orange, Nathanael Graeber/Maggie Lashua; Yellow, Emma Springstead/Martin Schmidt; Green, Kailey Cerny; Blue, Lucas Stelzer/Aurora Peetz; Indigo, Jack McGovern; Violet, Olivia Kiser; Sound, Elijahh Mullen/Allison Schmidt; Lights, Keaton Friske/Zach Suchomel/AJ Schertz; Crew: Allison Schmidt, Zach Suchomel, Aurora Peetz.
