Elaine D. Bless, age 98, of Tomahawk, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 at Ascension Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Elaine was born on Feb. 1, 1922 in the town of Spirit to Robert and Anita (Scheller) Smith. She was married to Fredrick Bless on Jan. 31, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. Elaine was a machine operator at a box plant and also worked in the office at Tomahawk Motors. She loved to travel to Europe, Mexico, Hawaii and Alaska. Elaine was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Elaine is survived by her two sons – Douglas (Christel) Bless of Manzanillo, Mexico, and Ronald (Susan) Bless of Fairbanks, Alaska; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers – Kermit (Peggy) Smith, Elroy (Margaret) Smith and Wayne (Eloise) Smith.
In accordance to Elaine’s wishes, services will be held privately. She will be buried in Greenwood Cemetery.
