Sharon A. (Juedes) Purchase

Sharon A. (Juedes) Purchase, 74, of Wausau, passed away Dec. 8, 2020 at Wausau Aspirus Hospital.

Sharon was born on Nov. 16, 1946 to Edwin and Helen (Cannon) Juedes in Merrill. For many years, Sharon lived in Chula Vista, Calif. She worked as a waitress and bartender in restaurants and also as a dump truck driver for a construction company. She loved crocheting and made an afghan for each one of her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt fan.

Sharon is survived by her brothers Gary (Fern) Juedes of Irma, Darrell (Betsy) Juedes of Tomahawk and Roger (Judy) Juedes of Irma; her sisters Judy Stine of Merrill, Sandy (Ward) Carstensen of Tomahawk and Darlene (Bill) Evans of Ogema; her sisters-in-law Cora Juedes, Patti Juedes, Mary Juedes and Bonnie Juedes. She is further survived by her countless nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers – Larry, Wayne, Duane, Dale, and Bruce; her sisters Dawn and Kaye, her brother-in-law Dale Stine and sisters-in-law Belle Juedes and Joan Juedes and two nephews, Terry Carstensen and Travis Juedes.

The Memorial Service for Sharon Purchase took place privately at 12 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, 2020 at Krueger Family Funeral Home, Tomahawk. The public was welcomed to join in on the zoom call. The zoom information was listed on the Krueger Family Funeral Home website at the end of Sharon’s obituary. Following the service, Sharon was buried in the Chat Cemetery in Irma.
