Lois J. Carew, age 82, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 at Country Terrace.

Lois was born on July 27, 1938 in Tomahawk to Parnell and Thelma (Bebeau) Paulson. She was married to Richard “Dick” Carew in 1958. Together, they lived in Alaska for 20 years. After Dick died unexpectedly, Lois moved back to Tomahawk. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Lois enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the casino. She cherished her time spent with family and friends.

Lois is survived by her children – Leslie Dalbeck of Anchorage, Alaska, Linda (Gary) Briner of Tomahawk, Lori (Nick) Nicholas of Fayetteville, N.C., and Greg (Lynda) Carew of Oxford, Fla. She is further survived by 13 beloved grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren with another on the way, four great-great grandchildren, brother – Donny Paulson and two sisters-in-law – Ila Mae Paulson and Marion Paulson.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, grandson, two brothers – Keith and Roger Paulson and sister-in-law – Jeanne Rae Paulson.

The Memorial Service took place at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021 at the Krueger Family Funeral Home, Tomahawk. Pastor Susan Christian officiated. Visitation took place from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m.
