TOMAHAWK – Tomahawk Elementary School will be closed from Wednesday, Jan. 13 through Friday, Jan. 22 due to “COVID-19 quarantine issues with staff,” according to a Tuesday, Jan. 12 release from District Administrator Terry Reynolds.

“Due to the amount of elementary staff in quarantine, in-person classes will not be able to be held in the elementary building,” Reynolds stated. “Remote learning instructions will be sent out on Wednesday, Jan. 13, with information for remote learning procedures for Jan. 13, 14, 18, 19, and 21. In-person instruction is scheduled to resume again on Monday, Jan. 25.”

Reynolds noted that grades 6 through 12 will continue their normal daily A & B schedules. Bus pickups for those students will run as usual.

“Staff not in quarantine should report to school as normal to assist with remote learning instruction,” Reynolds said.
