Harold C. Lueck, age 83, of Tomahawk, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at Riverview Health Services under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. Harold was born in Oak Park, Ill., on Jan. 26, 1937, to the late Herman and Mary “Mae” (Fulak) Lueck. He was married to JoAnn Kostanski on Aug. 31, 1958; she passed away in 2015.

Harold graduated from high school and entered the workforce. He was a butcher for various shops and grocery stores for over 50 years and was a member of the UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers Union) throughout his career. Harold retired from the butcher industry in 1992, but started working full time in maintenance/custodial for the Goodrich School District until his retirement in 2006. Harold’s family spent their summers at their home on Somo Lake in Tomahawk and moved to Tomahawk permanently in 2007. He enjoyed fishing, feeding and watching the wildlife around the house, watching movies (especially James Bond and military movies), and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Survivors include his daughter, Annette Stahl, of Westmont, Ill.; his sons, David (Gina) Lueck, of Davie, Fla., and John (Laneen) Lueck, of Romeoville, Ill. Harold is further survived by his four grandchildren, Christine, Allie, Igor, and Katya.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mae.

A celebration of life for Harold Lueck will be held at a later date in Chicago. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory, Tomahawk, is assisting the family. View Harold’s obituary and leave online condolences at www.generationsfuneral.com.
