For the Tomahawk Leader

TOMAHAWK – The Cross Country Coaches Association recently released the All-State Academic teams for all divisions in the state. To achieve All-State Academic honors, individuals must exceed a 3.5 cumulative GPA, and teams must meet the 3.4 GPA standard.

Tomahawk junior Noah Buckwalter made the All-State Academic squad as an individual for the second-straight year, as well as making the team standard.

Tomahawk’s 3.96 cumulative GPA average was tied for second-highest in the state among D2 team that received awards. Members of that group were juniors Emily Lacina, Macey Mann, Kate Reilly, and Ava Dragosh; sophomores Greta Tjugum and Morgan Hansmann; and freshman Rachael Reilly.
