County Board vacancy: Lincoln County seeking District 10 Supervisor

LINCOLN COUNTY – Lincoln County Clerk Christopher J. Marlowe announced on Monday, Feb. 1 that the county is seeking to fill a vacancy on its Board of Supervisors.

The vacant District 10 seat, which represents Wards 1 and 2 in the Town of Pine River, was previously held by Jeremy Ratliff.

The county will accept letters of interest until 12 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12. Letters and personal qualifications may be sent or delivered to the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office, 801 N. Sales St., Suite 201, Merrill, Wis., 54452, or cmarlowe@co.lincoln.wi.us. Questions regarding the vacancy may be directed to Marlowe at 715-539-1019 or cmarlowe@co.lincoln.wi.us.

Selected candidates will be interviewed on Monday, Feb. 15 at the Lincoln County Service Center, 801 N. Sales St., Merrill. The board plans to approve the appointment to fill the vacancy during its Feb. 16 meeting. The appointed Supervisor will serve the remainder of Ratliff’s unexpired term, ending April 18, 2022.
