Sept. 26, 1925 – Feb. 24, 2021

Frank J. Welke, 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

Frank was born in Tomahawk, Wis., on Sept. 26, 1925, to parents August Welke and Lucille (Shore) Welke. Frank worked as a wildland firefighter for the Department of Natural Resources in Wisconsin. Frank also was a U.S. Army veteran.

Frank loved bowling, going to the casinos, and musky fishing.

Frank is survived by his son, Mick (Sue), two grandsons, Scott (Jenny) and Jason (Melanie), four great-grandsons, Tyler, Carson, Alex and Colton, and a great-great-granddaughter, Eulalie.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife May, son Robin, and brother Harry.
