Patricia A. Derleth

Patricia A. Derleth, age 76, of Tomahawk, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Patty was born in Tomahawk on April 21, 1945, to the late Russell and Hazel Olson. She was married to Gordon Derleth on Feb. 4, 1983; he survives.

Patty attended Tomahawk High School and later entered the workforce as a nursing assistant and waitress. She then began employment at Harley-Davidson, where she was employed for over 20 years. Family was Patty’s priority and her biggest love. Her daughter, Dawn, was her shining light and strong rock. She adored spending time with her grandchildren, cherishing special sleepovers with Ava. Patty enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and loved the outdoors, 4-wheeling with Gordy and friends. She volunteered throughout the community, sharing her time and talents with Lincoln Industries, the Salvation Army, and the Tomahawk Food Pantry. Patty had a heart of gold and huge smile. She was the kind of person you would want as your best friend, the best listener, and a blessing to all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon Derleth; her sons, Dave Derleth, Ed Derleth, Mike (Paula) Derleth, Jamie (Sheri) Derleth, and Chad Derleth; her daughters, Daisy Kubitschek, Dawn Derleth, and Missy (Dustin) Clark; and her brother, John (Bev) Bickett.

She is further survived by her grandchildren, Tricia (Jason) Renn, Nicki Derleth, Amy (Matt) Fuchs, Brett (Janessa) Derleth, Kyle Derleth, Max Derleth, Lauren Derleth, Matt Olson, Hunter Derleth, Connor Derleth, Aubree Derleth, Ryan (Molly) Sobaszkiewicz, Mark Cordova, Kerra Cordova, Addison Clark, and Aiden Clark. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Ava and Clara Renn, and Nolan Derleth, along with many other great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Hazel; her brother, Thomas Olson, and her sister, Jeannie Ring.
