Op-ed: Innis returns as School District of Tomahawk Interim Administrator

By Joseph Innis

Interim School District of Tomahawk Administrator

As I begin my tenure as Interim District Administrator in the Tomahawk School District, I am looking forward to working with the School Board, staff, and community throughout the year.

Having served as Interim District Administrator in Tomahawk previously, I was fortunate to have met School Board members, the School District staff, and many people in the community. It was in those associations, what I learned about the School District of Tomahawk during my time here, and the appeal of the Tomahawk area overall, that most interested me in returning for another term.

As I look forward to the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year I have two overall objectives in mind. One is to work with the School Board, staff, and community to have a very successful school year. The other is to again work with everyone, to put the District in the best position possible, as a transition is made to a new District Administrator on July 1, 2022.

If I can be of assistance to you as the school year progresses, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to working with you as we combine our efforts to move the Tomahawk School District forward, focus on student learning and make the District the best that it can be.
