“Once you’re gone – you’re gone”
“Live in the now – not in the past”
Seems like some old clichés may have some truth to them (what a shame)!October 8, 2018 at 3:34 am #32303
Just attended my wife’s 50th HS reunion; she did not attend THS.
Great time! About 40% of graduating class attended (most but not all retired); 20-25% had “passed away” but there were pictures to remember them. A few had serious medical conditions which prevented their attendance but met 5 people who travelled over 2,500 miles to join in the celebration. No special entertainment was necessary but a few enjoyed golfing earlier in the day. A lot of “mingling” and stories told of happy days gone bye.
So, THS class of ’67, guess your reunion last year wasn’t worth the effort or at least no one wants to talk about it – guess you’re not the same people I remember. Rather sad – your loss!
