I am not a fan of ice fishing, but I like to fish in the open waters. Are the dams in the Tomahawk area frozen over? If so, can I fish near there and catch fish this time of year? I got the bug, and Tomahawk would do just the trick!

Well it`s been a few days since your post , and still no answers. Wish I could help. I guess nobody gives a “DAM” ! ODDS BODKINS! Get it Mullin , alittle play on words there!

All seriousness aside, I`m just guessing ,but I think it will be a week or two. We`re in the “deep freeze” right now ,but they`re expecting 50`s next weekend!
Did you happen to catch the Horizon Tournament game Saturday night? UWM beat UIC! Looks like the PACKER – BEARS type of rivalry is carrying on to Hoops!

I live just below Kings dam. Season is open all year for all species except bass and muskies. That is from Kings dam to the Fourth St. bridge. Walleye limit of (5) and 15″ size limit. Ice does skin over in extreme cold but never safe to walk on.
