MERRILL – Next week, the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC-CW) of Central Wisconsin will host a one-hour event aimed at helping family caregivers manage stress and find support.
All family caregivers are encouraged to attend the free community event, which will be held at the T.B. Scott Free Library, 106 1st St., Merrill, on Thursday, March 26 at 3 p.m.
“Caring for a family member or friend can make it difficult to focus on your own health and well-being,” the ADRC-CW said in a release.
Participants will explore common signs and sources of caregiver stress and learn practical stress-reduction strategies. A resource table will also provide information about local caregiver programs and services.
Those unable to attend in-person are invited to participate in the session virtually.
