Ambassadors hold ribbon cutting ceremony at The Grill

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Ambassadors recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony at The Grill.

The Grill, located at 3800 U.S. Hwy. 51, just north of Tomahawk, is owned by Scott and Jenny Symonds.

A release from the Ambassadors said Scott and Jenny met while attending Tomahawk High School, married shortly after graduation and started a family, raising seven children. Scott worked at Harley-Davidson in Tomahawk for 25 years, while Jenny focused on homeschool education and Kinship of Tomahawk, both as an employee and volunteer.

“The Symonds family loves great food, and when an opportunity presented itself to purchase a vacant restaurant, they took the plunge and opened The Grill,” the Ambassadors said.

The Grill serves always fresh, never frozen Black Angus ground chuck smash burgers on fresh buns made from scratch and baked daily. The menu also includes fresh-cut fries, salads, fresh chicken, homemade award-winning macaroni and cheese and a variety of in-house made appetizers and dips.

“The Grill is run by the Symonds family and offers fast, friendly counter service in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with both indoor and outside seating,” the Ambassadors stated.
