TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Area Interfaith Volunteers (TAIV) recently thanked Grace Lutheran Church and its congregation for a donation.
TAIV Director Gloria Quinn said Pastor Julie and members of Grace Lutheran presented TAIV with a special offering collected by the congregation to help support the organization's mission of assisting seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout the Tomahawk area.
The donation will help TAIV continue providing transportation, companionship and other vital services that allow local residents to remain independent and connected to the community, according to Quinn.
In addition to the financial contribution, members of Grace Lutheran also donated a raffle basket to support TAIV's upcoming Golf Scramble fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 1. The basket will be featured among the event's raffle prizes, helping raise additional funds for the organization's programs and services, Quinn said.
"We are incredibly thankful for the kindness and generosity of Grace Lutheran Church," Quinn stated. "Community partnerships like these make it possible for us to continue serving our neighbors and meeting the growing needs of seniors and people with disabilities in our area."
“Tomahawk Area Interfaith Volunteers extends its sincere appreciation to Pastor Julie, the congregation of Grace Lutheran Church and everyone who contributed to the special offering and raffle basket donation,” TAIV said.
