TOMAHAWK – On Saturday, March 21, Tomahawk’s two Harley-Davidson plants, Somo and Kaphaem, took part in the second of several competitions as part of an ongoing friendly contest dubbed the “Harley-Lympics.”
Employees from both plants squared off in a pool tournament, held at VFW Post 2687 in Tomahawk.
Shooting for Kaphaem were Joyce Firkus and Holly Selissen, while Corey Wilk and Bill Schiltz represented Somo.
The Somo plant ultimately emerged victorious by just one ball, evening the overall competition score to 1-1. The Kaphaem plant took the top spot in the first iteration of the contest – a bowling challenge at Strikers Tomahawk Bowl.
Harley-Davidson Tomahawk Operations also donated $500.00 to the VFW, with the funds coming from Tomahawk Operations’ Fall Ride T-shirt sales.
