MERRILL – This week, the Lincoln County Veterans Service Office (LCVSO) announced that its office will be temporarily relocated.
Effective Monday, Sept. 14, until further notice, public access for the LCVSO will move to the Lincoln County Human Services Building at 607 N. Sales St. in Merrill.
A release from LCVSO said the temporary move will allow for renovations at the LCVSO’s primary office in the Lincoln County Service Center at 801 N. Sales St. in Merrill.
LVCSO said the renovations are designed to enhance its facilities for those it serves.
“We sincerely appreciate your patience during this transition,” LCVSO stated.
Directional signage will be placed outside both the Service Center (801 N. Sales Street) and the Human Services Building (607 N. Sales Street) to assist those seeking LCVSO’s services.
LCVSO noted that its office hours will remain unchanged.
“Upon arrival, please check in at the front desk and wait in the lobby,” LCVSO said. “The Veteran Service Officer (VSO) or Deputy VSO will meet you there.”
LCVSO said its “dedication to offering high-quality advocacy and support to veterans and their families remains unwavering.”
“We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the renovation and ask that service needs be planned with this temporary move in mind,” LCVSO stated.
