As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Monday, April 13:
On 04/7/26 deputies were dispatched to the Lincoln County Jail in the City of Merrill for a fight between two inmates. One inmate was transported to Aspirus Merrill Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the fight. Both inmates will have charges of battery by prisoner filed with the Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office.
Deputies conducted 43 traffic stops and 43 security checks.
Deputies responded to six car vs. deer crashes and one car vs. turkey.
