As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Monday, March 30:
On 03/28/26 LISO a deputy on patrol observed a vehicle traveling left of center on CTH Z near Farmingdale Rd. in the Town of Corning. The deputy stopped the vehicle for the violation and made contact with the driver, a Deerbrook man. In speaking with the driver, the deputy noticed signs of impairment. The driver was asked and agreed to do some sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, the driver was arrested for a first offense OWI. He was later released to a responsible party.
Deputies conducted 67 traffic stops and 27 security checks.
Deputies responded to four car vs. deer crashes and one LISO squad vs. portly muskrat.
