Local businesses provide high schoolers with mock interviews

TOMAHAWK – Earlier this month, Personal Financial Planning students at Tomahawk High School (THS) had the opportunity to put their newly-acquired interview skills into real-world practice.

Instructor Connor Ahrens explained that through a series of mock interviews, the students engaged one-on-one with representatives from local businesses, receiving both practical experience and individualized feedback.

“Generously volunteering their time and expertise, representatives from Packaging Corporation of America (PCA), Daigle Brothers Inc., IncredibleBank, Crossbridge Community Bank, Louisiana-Pacific (LP) and Tomahawk Main Street Inc. offered students insights into the professional world, sharing tips on effective communication, confidence-building and professional etiquette and attire,” Ahrens stated.
