Nokomis FD trains with new tools

TOWN OF NOKOMIS – This week, the Nokomis Volunteer Fire Department conducted training focused on its newly acquired Milwaukee M18 tools.

The tools, including reciprocating saws, portable lighting, a circular saw, metal shears, an impact wrench, a drill, a cutoff grinder, a rotary tool, a fan and more, were purchased with funds raised at various events.

The department said the training helped members learn how the tools handle metal, wood, drywall and other materials.

“More tools in the department toolbox, as we get called for a wide range of emergency situations,”  the department stated. “Thanks for your support.”
