Street Department reminding city residents of upcoming Yard Waste Clean-Up Week

TOMAHAWK – The City of Tomahawk Street Department is reminding residents that this year’s Fall Yard Waste Clean-Up Week is coming up.

The department designated next week (Monday, Oct. 27 through Friday, Oct. 31) as Fall Yard Waste Clean-Up Week. The clean-up is for city residents only.

Only brush and yard waste will be accepted. The department said brush should be neatly piled, with cut ends of limbs facing the curb.

“The only acceptable containers for leaves are plastic bags,” the department said. “These bags must not contain any other type of rubbish or household waste.”

Items must be placed out no later than 7 a.m. each day.
