TOMAHAWK – StrongBodies of Tomahawk recently made a pair of donations.
The first was a $1,500.00 allocation to Our Sisters’ House Homeless Shelter in Tomahawk, which provides a temporary home and other support to those in need.
The second donation was made to the School District of Tomahawk. The $1,500.00 contribution was allocated to the district’s food service lunch deficit.
Strong Bodies of Tomahawk offers five twice-weekly structured workout sessions using weights to build strength in older adults. About 130 people take part in the program. Through donations, the nonprofit organization helps support area programs addressing health and wellness.
