NORTHERN WISCONSIN – T.A. Solberg Company Inc. this week announced the promotion of Nathan Weitz to President of Retail.

A release from T.A. Solberg said Bob Jaskolski, who has served as President and Chief Executive Officer, will remain the company’s CEO, “focusing on long-term strategy while Weitz assumes leadership of the retail division.”

The transition marks a significant milestone for the company, showcasing its "promote-from-within" philosophy, according to the release.

“Weitz, a 29-year veteran of the grocery industry, joined T.A. Solberg Company in 2004,” the release stated. “Over two decades, he has ascended through various leadership roles, including Grocery Manager, Director of Center Store Merchandising, and most recently, Vice President of Retail.”

"Nate has been a cornerstone of our leadership team for years," Jaskolski stated. "Watching him grow from a department manager to a corporate leader has been a point of pride for this company. His deep understanding of operational excellence and his commitment to our customers make him the perfect choice to lead our retail operations. Nate’s ability to lead high-caliber teams while staying true to the organization’s core values has been a driving force behind the company’s continued growth.”

In his new capacity as President of Retail, Weitz will lead the strategic direction of the grocery and convenience store divisions, overseeing all retail operations and “ensuring the continued delivery of world-class service across all T.A. Solberg locations,” according to the release.

T.A. Solberg owns and operatives five Trig’s grocery stores in northern Wisconsin, including one in Tomahawk.
