TOMAHAWK – StrongBodies of Tomahawk recently made a donation of $1,500.00 to the Tomahawk Area Interfaith Volunteers (TAIV).
TAIV serves individuals and families in need throughout the community by providing a variety of essential services, including transportation assistance, light housekeeping, companionship and resources that help maintain independence and quality of life.
StrongBodies is a national nonprofit weightlifting workout program designed to build bone and muscle strength and increase balance in older people. The local program helps support other nonprofits focused on the health and wellness of people of all ages.
“TAIV extends its sincere gratitude to StrongBodies of Tomahawk for their generosity and continues support of its mission,” said TAIV Director Gloria Quinn.
