TCT set to present latest production, ‘Murder on the Orient Express’

Posted

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Community Theater (TCT) will present its 2025 fall play with a pair of performances next weekend.

A release from TCT said that over the last three years, audiences have expressed an interest in seeing productions of murder mysteries. TCT took those comments to heart – this fall’s production is an Agatha Christy adaptation of her book, “Murder on Orient Express,” produced with special arrangement by Concord Theatricals.

“With a cast of 12 talented local artists, this play is sure to entertain mystery seekers and theater enthusiasts alike,” TCT stated. “The story takes place in Istanbul. The detective is from Belgium. The characters are from several different countries. The plot unfolds as they all prepare to board the Orient Express train. The audience will enjoy getting to know each character and what part they play in the mystery that takes place.”

Performances will be held at the School District of Tomahawk auditorium, 1048 E. King Rd., Tomahawk, on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are currently available for purchase. General admission tickets are $15.00 online and $20.00 at the door, if seating is available on performance days.

To purchase tickets in advance, visit TCT’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/tomahawk.communitytheater/; or TCT’s website at www.tomahawkcommunitytheater.com/.

“You won't want to miss this who-done-it show,” TCT said.
