TOMAHAWK – Tomahawk is the focus of a recent promotional video from Discover Wisconsin.
Discover Wisconsin, the longest-running travel and tourism series in the country, features destinations, events and attractions throughout the state. The series has won three Emmy awards, with more than 20 nominations, as well as 20 National Telly Awards.
The Tomahawk Regional Chamber of Commerce teamed up with Discover Wisconsin to shine a light on the area.
The video features several drone shots of the city and the Nokomis area, as well as footage of downtown Tomahawk, including the William H. Bradley mural.
Numerous local businesses appear in the video, including Edgewater Country Club, Tilted Loon Saloon, Castaways Bar and Grill, Sideways Wine and Craft Beer, Dog ‘n Suds, The Windmill Ice Cream Shoppe and Big Bear Mini Golf and Ice Cream.
The area’s wide variety of outdoor recreation opportunities – such as ATV/UTV, hiking and biking trails, kayaking, fishing, boating and camping – are prominently featured, and the Kwahamot Water Ski Show is also highlighted.
